Mongolia

This is going to be an interesting summer. I just got the message that I can go to Ulaanbaatar, the capital of Mongolia, to work as a webmaster for two months!
Back in January I attended an information event by IAESTE (International Association for the Exchange of Students for Technical Experience) Switzerland, where we learned about the organisation and how the application process was handled. At the beginning of February a list of job opportunities was posted and I could pick 5 that interested me. Next thing I heard was at the end of March, a reminder to immediately confirm my internship. Turned out that I hadn't received the e-mail with the application forms. One Week later my application was submitted and now I had to wait till the employer decided if he would take me. The good thing about IAESTE is, that the local office assigns one places to one applicant. In other words, if you get the chance to apply you'll be the only applicant for this job.
